Her students saw the future first

Taste of Thailand — menu, hours and online ordering.

Noy’s Northern Thai roots

Noy began by teaching Thai cooking. Her students loved the food and kept telling her, “You should open a restaurant.” In 1994, Noy, family and friends took the plunge on South Broadway and built Taste of Thailand one meal at a time.More than three decades later, the kitchen still follows her instincts: layer flavor patiently, cook with the seasons and welcome every table warmly.

You should open a restaurant.

The encouragement that started Taste of Thailand

A family-run South Broadway dining room

Taste of Thailand grew into a neighborhood restaurant through family effort, loyal guests and the same generous hospitality Noy brought to her cooking classes. Today the dining room welcomes Denver neighbors from Platte Park, Rosedale and beyond.

The garden is part of how we cook

From soil to kitchen

Basil, mint, lemongrass, cilantro, garlic, greens, squash and seasonal vegetables move from the garden into the kitchen throughout the growing season. Tender leaves, blossoms, young vegetables and seeds all find a place in Noy’s Northern “Yum” dishes and seasonal cooking.Vegetable trimmings, eggshells, coffee grounds and tea leaves return as compost, completing a small cycle that keeps the soil healthy.
